Designing Fantasy Cities and Remembering PAXEast

Yesterday saw my 2nd article go up on the Gamer Assembly. In it I muse a bit about how awesome Learn to Play is at Conventions, specifically PAXEast. I talk about those moments when new gamers finally get that in tabletop games there are no limits and even failing can be fun.

Today on StufferShack, I continue my series on Designing Fantasy Cities. It had been a long time since I wrote one of these article. I always intended to continue it, but got distracted by other ideas. These articles have become some of my most read, however, so I’m again trying to make an effort to flesh each point out.
